Danielle Nemschoff, Postdoctoral Research Fellow
Danielle received her PhD from the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy in 2026. Her research lies at the intersection of public and labor economics with a focus on the criminal justice system. Her work examines the role of social and economic factors, including family ties and mental health, in criminal justice outcomes and subsequent behavior. Prior to graduate school, Danielle was a Research Assistant at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors.
